Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP)

The Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) provides block grants to higher education providers to support both domestic and overseas students undertaking Research Doctorate and Research Masters degrees.

Scholarship Benefits

• Tuition fee offset (covers fees for the duration of the course).
• Stipend for general living costs.
• Allowances for relocation, thesis printing, and health insurance (OSHC).

Requirements

• Domestic or international student enrolled in an accredited HDR course at an Australian university.
• High academic achievement and research potential.
• Must not be receiving an equivalent award or scholarship from the Commonwealth.
